Join the Greater Portland Iris Society
If you like to grow iris, want to learn more about them and meet other iris enthusiastis, we invite you to join us. Membership priviledges include: the right to use the GPIS library, eligibility for door prizes at meetings (including a $50 iris!), access to special auctions and sales, and admittance to seminars and workshops. Dues are $10.00 per year per household/address for those who main club is GPIS. For those residing in Region 13, but whose region dues are paid by another club, dues are $7.00. Outside Region 13, dues are $12.50 per year per household. To join GPIS, send your dues to: Region 13 of the American Iris Society includes Washington, Oregon and Alaska. Spring and fall meetings with garden tours, educational meetings and lots of iris socializing. A newsletter subscription is included in your membership dues to GPIS. Our parent organization which registers all varieties of iris in commerce, establishes national awards and publishes a very informative quarterly bulletin.
